Arizona to Asia
Arizona to Asia is a non-profit organization created in 2006 through the inspired efforts of Steve and Cherie Vicera, owners of Sommet Fitness. The mission of Arizona to Asia is to support non-profit organizations in Asia that serve and empower communities, families, and children.
Center For Hope
In its year of inception, Arizona to Asia was able to raise nearly $30,000 for a children's village, The Center of Hope Philippines, which was started through a grant by the United States Department of Agriculture. The Center of Hope Philippines provides short-term residential care, individual and family counseling, medical attention, and educational support for sexually abused children. Arizona to Asia is an all-volunteer effort allowing all proceeds to directly support its benefactors.
In 2008, Arizona to Asia looks forward to continuing its support for The Center of Hope Philippines.
